I would like to show my support for our troops during the holidays and thought maybe some of you would have suggestions. is in correct because if Bill got a 5 pound present than that means Jan’s watch she bought is 5 pounds. Which of course cannot work technically speaking try again and provide what wrapping paper they used

I usually keep some Barnes & Noble gift cards around for this purpose. My mom has always had a stash of See’s candy certificates “just in case.”

It is not the cheese they sell in the grocer that is packaged in a cottage cheese like container, but it comes in plastic baskets covered with a cellophane bag. Okay, my husband and I are in dire need of a little vacation…just to get away from work and the miserable country we currently live in (Germany to be precise).

Since we’re military, we can’t go far and we can’t go for long…a week tops maybe. We’re looking for something in Europe and I don’t know where to start. Just to be clear though-we’re not really looking to do sight seeing…even though a few we wouldn’t mind; sun, sand, relaxing and maybe a slightly romantic environment would be nice (emphasis on the sun and sand - if that can be found around this time of year)…and cheap since the Euro rate is a B* against the dollar right now.

A holiday package with a flight and hotel included (plus transportation) is a must. Anyone have any ideas?

Also to add - please do not say Paris. It’s cliche for “romantic” and it’s a dirty city.

Just afew questions…
1. Which other Greece island should we visit? We love Rhodes as it wasn’t too big so we could see all what the island had to offer, it wasn’t expensive at all, the scenery and beaches were beautiful and there were tons to do. Plus it wasn’t overly touristy and there weren’t lots of children. Any suggestions? I’ve been told to look at Crete and Katholona(sp?)

2. Is Island hopping expensive? I’m a student & my boyfriend is an apprentice so we don’t have a lot of money.

3. How DO you island hop?! Would we fly or take a ferry, etc? Can these be pre-booked or is there a holiday company who does holiday packages which flies from does this kind of thing?
Any other information would be useful as well! thanks!
