I put in an order for four shirts from American Eagle with overnight shipping ($16) on Saturday November 22 and have still not received my package (today is Wednesday November 26). My mail has already been delivered for the day so i know I’m not getting it today(it’s USPS). I understand that the package probably shipped out on Monday put I should have received the package on Tuesday because it’s supposed to be delivered the day after it ships. Now I am going to be on vacation for four days while the package sits in front of my house on a busy road. What should I do?

If I send something of value, should I buy insurance, even though it is out of the postal system’s hands once it leaves this country?

Also, if the post office marks it as fragile and there is insurance on it….are they more likely to take better care of it? (I’ve heard that some sailors get their boxes in pretty abused shape.)

Are there any items I am banned from shipping to a sailor on board a ship? (besides, obviously, alcohol.)

So you are definitely wrong because usps parcel post is 2-9 days anyway…

I was expecting a package through USPS Media. According to the tracking, a delivery was attempted at the address at 7:30am and a notice was left on Monday, November 12th. First of all, this was a holiday (Veteran’s Day Observed). Second of all, there was no notice left and there were people home to receive the package at the time. I do have a tracking number through USPS but it just shows that the item was submitted to the Post Office but never delivered. When contacting the post office they just tell me it’s still being “investigated”
