Can I get the Disney Dining Plan without a vacation package?
hurleysweety16 asked:
I would like the dining plan, but we (2 of us) are staying at a condo off-property for our vacation. Is there any way to get the dining plan? (Not ebay or anything like that…)

Nope. It’s only available as an add-on to a “Magic Your Way” Vacation Package.

The Disney Dining Plan is only available to add on to a room package.
If you plan on eating at Disney alot, you can look into the Disney Dining Experience, which is good for a year with a one time charge of $85 ($60 for Annual Passholders) and is good for 20% off meals and alcohol at almost any restaurant on property. We have used it for three sit down meals and have already saved almost $40.

You can only get the Dining Plan if you are staying on-property.
As Steph mentioned, the Disney Dining Experience card is a good alternative, but that is only available if you are a FL resident or an AP holder.

Lose the condo…Staying on Disney property is way better. Lots of advantages to it, extra hours in the parks, Disney dining plan, no need for a car, no payying parking everyday, no looking for your car amoung thousands in the huge lots. Stay at Disney..so many resorts to choose. good luck

No, you must be staying with Disney. If you are looking for villa-style accomodations, Disney offers a good selection of “Disney Vacation Club Resorts” which offer villas and vacation homes. If you stay with Disney you can add the Disney Dining Plan to your reservation and will have access to all the great Disney on-property benefits. Checkout the website at:
