I need a suggestion in getting a nice gift for my husband on the occasion of our anniversary?
sanju asked:
he loves games… but we already have PS3 and few computer games at home.. he loves movies… he loves electronics too… he is not into chains and clothes… i want to give something very special… i dont mind spending 500 - 1000 bucks but want him to be surprised and happy… can anyone please suggest…. i had a plan of giving him a vacation package but it will be a gift to myself… ha ha… so cant think of a better one
we have a LCD tv and home theater too.. when we have a PS3.. y will he need an xbox?
about vacation.. i know tat anniversaries are better on vacations but he takes me out every year.. and i have to ask him before booking to know his schedules at work :)… how can this surprise him.. if I just go ahead and buk,.. he might surprise me saying he is stuck up with a business deal that week :)… guess a weekend trip should be good.. let me think over it.. thanks for the ideas people…

Get him tickets to his favorite sporting event. The happiest I’ve seen men when they receive gifts is when they get tickets. Super Bowl if you can afford it will wow him and make all his friends jealous and make you look like the coolest wife.

Find out if you can rent a movie theatre for an afternoon. Have a nice luncheon catered in and watch a movie - just the two of you. (shouldn’t cost you more than a couple hundred dollars)

You are going to spend a grand on him? OK here is an idea, divorce him and marry me. I am sure my wife won’t mind.

You say that a vacation would be a gift to yourself, but isn’t an anniversary a time for celebration of the both of you? Didn’t you take a trip for your honeymoon?
Wouldn’t a vacation together be a nice way to keep the fire going in your marriage? It sounds like you have not really thought through what an anniversary is. This is not his birthday, this is a birthday celebration of your marriage.
Take care,
Troy

Does he like Poker? You could pay for a room at a casino and enter him in a tournament with a $500 buy in..

Here’s a great game - find a super hot woman in her 20’s and bring her home. Get naked with her and let your husband watch as you go at it with each other - after an hour or so, ask him to join you both!! What a GREAT GAME!!

Manage Troi - if you dont know what it means. Look it up. that would be the best gift a wife could ever give her husband.

You could get him World of Warcraft, along with a 6-month subscription.
I don’t know about your husband, but nothing I could ever buy would make mine as happy as he gets when I cook his favorite meal.

Shoot, you can pretty much get him anything for that price range. I would go to a site like sharper image and get a few items from the gadget - electronics - personal care areas.

When in doubt, ask. He might want a new game system or something. A gift card to an electronics store will say, “I love you so much that I want you to be as happy as possible with your gift so I’m letting you pick it out.” Wrap it up inside a box with brand new lingerie for you to wear for him that night. Also enclose professional massage oil. Have the wrapped up box waiting for him at the table of his favorite restaurant. (Make sure the tag says, “Open at home, later!”) This will say to him, “I planned ahead and gave this some thought.” When he opens the box, put on the lingerie and end your evening with a VERY long back rub or massage. At least an hour.
