You should have no problems. But not staying at the Rio, all suites? Rio is located on West Flamingo, on the other side of the freeway from Caesar’s Palace. So PH is closer. Besides PH is for people in their 20’s!!!

Im not sure on the check in question, but just call the front desk at whatever hotel you end up choosing and they will tell you. As far as TI or Planet Hollywood, I would go with TI. They are both on the strip and not too far apart and will be about the same cab ride to the Rio. You play poker so that is another reason to stay at TI. When you are not playing the WSOP, TI has a great little poker room. Always a game going. I spent alot of time in their room on my last Vegas trip eventhough I stayed at Caesars. PH does not always have a game to be found there. I think people play PH for tourneys primarily, not the cash game. TI has a good atmosphere as they have re-vived themselves into a more young adult atmosphere rather than the kids that it may have been known for in the past. I am staying there myself (I am 28) late June-early July timeframe and play quite a bit of poker and plan to play a WSOP event or 2. Call TI and ask for their poker room rate. I booked about a month ago and I am paying 79 a night except Fri and Sat which is 129. Good Luck and dont take all my money if I run into you out there!!

You should be OK as long as you’re 21 when you check in.
You can always call the hotel and ask. They all have 800-numbers. I’d bet (he-he) you’re not the first person ever to do this!
Last time I was in Vegas, there was a free shuttle from Harrah’s to Rio. Harrah’s is pretty much right across the street from TI.
If you’re going to take a cab, there’s not much difference.

You shouldn’t have a problem with the package? But why don’t you stay at the Rio? Great rooms. If you are looking for something less expensive try Harrah’’s on the strip. They have a shuttle to and from the Rio. Harrah’s is center strip. Lots of games on the strip. Especially during the WSOP.
Good Luck. Wish we had your real name so when you make it to the final table we can brag about posting with you on this board. :o) GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!

If you book on line with a credit card there is no age check. They do check your ID when you check in. As long as you are 21 by then there is no problem.
The Rio is about a mile west of the Strip. You will need transportation to any Strip hotel anyway so it really does not matter which hotel you stay at.

No worries…as long as your 21 at check in you’ll be fine. PH is marginally closer, and is geared more towards the party crowd. I personally prefer TI over PH… but I’m married and in my late 30’s… if I were 21 and looking to party I think I’d lean towards PH. Good luck in the WSOP!
See link below under “source”… you’ll have to enable the pop up (from vegas.com)… shows where the hotels are on the strip.

What are they going to do.. ID you over the phone?
The hotel doesnt care, or have any idea how old the person booking the place is. They just want to make sure someone over 21 is checking into the room.

Planet Hollywood is closer, and it is THE spot for young people! I am 26 and I really can’t get enough of PH! Their casino is hot, their rooms are hot! Pretty much everything there is hot!
You shouldn’t have trouble booking especially if you book through a 3rd party
Have fun and good luck in the WSOP!
