Problematic weather conditons - Greek Islands or Spanish Islands?
Mt sister and I will be travelling to one of the above either during the end of May or the first week of June, but have really fallen at the first hurdle as we have been unable to obtain consistent advice on the best destination to travel to.
My sister suffers from a chronic illness - which would make travelling to very hot places intolerable for her.Similarly I’m not keen on very hot weather. We had considered France and Italy, which, although possibly milder in temperature would prove more of a hassle to organise as they really do not offer package holiday deals there from England - particularly to France.
We are, therefore, considering the Greek Islands or the Canary Islands. Does anyone have any idea which would be milder in temperature around this time of year? We have no idea and travel agencies are providing conflicting advice - an Independent agency said Greek islands/Thomas Cook said the Spanish Island? Or suggestions for other short haul destinations with beaches?
Please note that the destinations can only be short haul from England due to my sister’s illness.

I love Greece, Cyprus and Crete…… But don’t go if you don’t like hot… In June (usually) Its scorching….

For you is better greek islands than spanish islands!But this time of the year is hot in both of them until september-october!

Its better to stick with France or Spain or Italy.
I wouldn’t know about Canary Island but if you do not wish hot weather then you can not visit at this time greek islands. Just concider that today, in Cyprus which has more or less the same climate its 29 to 30oC!!!
