I am not a travel agent, but my partner is. He says that travel agents only get a small percentage on package holidays, so the only way to get the best deals is to shop around.

If you are looking at flights rather than packages, then if you are under 30 or over 60 you are entitled to massive discounts.

The prices of package holidays are fixed by the package companies - not the travel agents.
