Will anyone donate to my Marine Christmas package?

I’ve been raising money through Ebay to help send my boyfriend’s unit, who is currently deployed in Iraq, some Christmas goodies. I’ve been doing well so far, but I thought a little help could make it a whole lot more easy, and a whole lot more special! So if you would like to contribute, ANYTHING is welcomed and EXTREMLY appreciated! Everyone who donates, even if it’s a quarter or twinkie, will be added to the list of contributors for their Christmas package, and anyone you decides to give a little is also encouraged to write a letter- or short note- to be added to each bag. I think this would be a great thing to propose to your friends and family. It also sounds like you could use some fund raising ideas.
Fundraising Ideas
1. Do a search online for free fund raising ideas, there thousands of them, pick the ones you can do quickly. (see below)
2. Post a blog entry about it.
3. Join some community and fund raising forums and website and post your message there.
4. Email your friends with the information and ask them to forward the email to others.
5. Post flyers with the information on bulletin boards and other charity sites.
6. Go to local companies, meet the owners face to face and explain your need and how it will benefit the local community.
